Movix respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and third parties to do the same. This page explains our policy regarding copyright infringement claims and the procedure for submitting a valid DMCA notice.

1. Nature of the Service

Movix is an indexing and aggregation platform. We do not host, upload, store, or stream any video or media files on our own servers.

All media players and embedded content displayed on Movix originate from third-party websites that make such content publicly available on the internet. Movix has no control over the hosting, storage, or transmission of this external content.

2. Copyright Policy

• We respond promptly to complete and valid DMCA notices.

• Upon verification, we may remove or disable access to the reported material.

• We may terminate access for repeat infringement in appropriate circumstances.

3. How to Submit a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that copyrighted material is accessible on Movix in a way that infringes your rights, your notice must include all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

2. Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

3. The exact URL(s) on Movix where the allegedly infringing material appears (general references or screenshots are insufficient).

4. Sufficient contact information (name, email address, and telephone number).

5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

5. Incomplete or Invalid Notices

Notices that do not comply with the requirements above may be ignored or
delayed. Movix is not obligated to act on notices that lack sufficient
information to locate the material.

6. Counter-Notification

If you believe that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing all elements required under applicable law.

7. Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting false or misleading DMCA notices may result in legal liability.
Movix reserves the right to document and report abusive claims.
